GHRUN# 681: Enough of the theme hashes and back to some hardcore adventure, time for a next hash run.   It is CARICOM holiday in Guyana, hashers what other way to celebrate CARICOM Day than to go hashing.  It is not a Saturday or a Sunday it is a Monday a National holiday in Guyana.  You have all the time to party on Friday, Saturday and rest all day Sunday, Monday you have nothing to do, so get your lazy asses and get on with it.  Out of Town once again more adventure around this lovely Country of ours.  Monday, July 07, 2014, we going out of town, get out of your house early promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Meeting up in front of Mojo’s or Main Street Plaza Hotel, opposite British High Commission,  Hash Cash, if you pay four days before G$2,500 on the Day G$3000.  Hares Rabel and Chop the two master of the Game let’s see how they will punish us!   ON ! GHH RUN#680: ALL AMERICAN HASH, KEEPING THE THEME SPRIT FOR THIS RUN ALSO, DRESS IN THE AMERICAN COLOURS RED, WHITE AND BLUE

 All the hashes turned out to be a blast over the last few months, we had so many different hashes, so much fun, beers flying all over, mud, pot holes, shitie trails, all sort of different foods, wining, belly dancing etc. etc. etc. keeping that same sprit going our American Hashers, No name Larry Fisher, Melanie Fisher are haring Run Number 680 Yap Jack will be assisting them since they are both virgin hares: 

Run #680 all American Hash; American food, dress in your Red, white and Blue. This will be an out of town Hash and we are going to a resort in Timehri . Put on your swim wear under your running clothes, since part of the Hash will be fun in de water. Hash Cash is G$4200 this is inclusive of entrance fee to the Resort which is G$1200.00 and G$3000 Hash Cash. Date Sunday, June 22, 2014. Meet up at British High Commission or in front of Main Street Plaza Hotel (Mojo’s). Meet up time 11:00 a.m. ON! ON! Wankers bring out the virgins.

GHH Run#679: Birthdays Bash Hash!! Arabian Theme dress up competition!

The last two hashes were Indian and Guyana’s Independence Day! In keeping with the trends of the last two hashes, GHH RUN#679 will be a Birthday Bash Hash; three of our hashers will be celebrating their birthdays.   

They are throwing us a big Hash Bash Birthday Party, the theme of this hash is the Moroccan (Arabic) they will be hookahs in the house for the smokers. Price will be give away to the person with the best dress Moroccan or Arabic costume or clothing.  

You are free to practice belly dancing, since there will be a belly dancing DANCE OFF.   Not to worry a good trail will be set no hash without a trail. Person can walk with your Arabic clothes for the party, if you are not comfortable running in a Moroccan (Arabic) dress or costumes.

GHHH: RUN#680: PRE INDEPENDENCE DAY SCAVENGER HUNT RUN

 Well the last Pre Mothers Day Hash was a blast except for a few complains that they had to go to the toilet with ice the next day.  Well look like it turn out to be a burning asses hash.  Thanks to the hares for making that burning asses hash possible.  

You all have enjoyed the Indian food from the last pre mother’s day hash and then some of you complained and baled again like babies, that you had to go to the toilet with ice the next day. Well I hope down there is ok now from all the burning and the asses are fully rested from all the burning from the Indian spice. Time for run number 680. 

This one will be a scavenger hunt run. You can bring out your team or we will select a team, they will be a bonfire I was told. This is a pre Independence Day evening run;

GHHH RUN# 679 PRE MOTHERS DAY HASH RUN

The Bar Hopping Hash was a BIG BLAST we want to keep it that way our next HASH PRE MOTHER’S DAY HASH RUN. This will be a next cool run with the flair of an Indian chief from India who will be cooking Indian Cuisine. Since it is Mother’s Day the next Day. YAP JACK will be giving some mother’s love to all her HASH CHILDREN ON! ON! He! He! he! Hares are YAP JACK and no Name Asif from India. Halloween Hash 2013 run #668

Well now, weeeeeerrrrrrreeee baaaaacccckkkkkk!!!!!!

After a long hiatus, the Guyana hash blog is back.  Oh you noticed?!?!?!

Yes, well, after Run #666 when all hashers wore their horns lit and ran through the dark streets of Ogle and Industry, we had run #667 in Linden where Demerara Hash and G/T Hash joined to hash around the Bl ue Lake, climbing up and down white sand hills in the blazing hot sun,and which run yours truly really did not attend (I have an excuse!!), we come to run Number 668.

We are back on Main Street, meeting on Friday the 25th, for the Official Guyana Hash House Harriers Halloween run.  Meeting on Main Street for 5pm, we left the High Commission at 6.30pm (Guyana Standard time), and drove to Cummings Lodge for the start of the run.  In Costume.  And face Paint.  And more lit horns. 

Hares were Gypsy Bitch, Yhap Jack, $2 Dollar Suckee Suckee and Nameless Randy Fredricks.

So, we ran through the streets of Industry, visited two orphanages and distributed Halloween sweets to the residents, passed through the Ogle cemetery, in full darkness, with hashers competing to put scares into other hashers, out into the Airport Bar for a beer stop and thence onto Ogle airport road for the Down Down and Party!!

At the ONON / DownDown we had five leavers who were named or in the case of one, renamed.
Visa Bitch was renamed S(u)megma,
Dallas named Black Cock Down,
Jaime named La Don.
Jimmy named Brazilian Stripper
Chuck named Yeti Lover.

No sinners since the new GM has not gotten around to appointing a Religious Advisor!

But all in all a good run over familiar territory.
Party afterwards was good..Smoke machine, lights, BBQ, Boom Box and all.

Hash Run #647 - Nov 17

Hash Report:
At a location in Canal #1 with plenty of possibilities No-Name Jamal was a no-show as a Hare but showed up to pick up the 'shit'.
Our lovely but rusty trail-setting hares (bouncing bikini and no name yolanda) laid a trail which picked up a not so good rating of 3 on the hash scale - and they got the ice marks to prove it.
Hash grub was excellent and there was too much beer to handle (not a normal occurrence) so all in all it was a great day to spend with the hash family.
