The GHHH is a drinking group with a running problem, but you neither need drink nor run to enjoy a hash. All are welcome, young and old, fast or slow, virtuous or not, so just come on out and join us. The only prerequisite to hashing is a sense of humor.

Logistics

The GHHH generally 'runs' every other weekend, usually 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoons, but sometimes other days/times. We meet in front of the British High Commission at 44 Main street. Everyone is welcome. The hash fee of GY$2,500.00 buys you food and drink. ($3,000.00 on all-day Sunday 'runs'.) Transportation is usually available from the BHC to the run for hashers who need it.

History of the Georgetown HHH

The Georgetown (Guyana) Hash House Harriers (GHHH) was resurrected by Dave 'Jungle Man' Taylor of the Kuala Lumpur HHH on 10 Dec 1989. Midwives were Mike 'Mighty Dimple' Haigh, Steve Waters, Amanda Rowlatt, Stephen Fell, Richard 'Dickhead' Clayton, David 'Nine Lives' Knevett, John Reynolds, Carol Ennifer, Sher Brock, Peter Giles, Simon Harding.
The GHHH site has been viewed times since April 3, 2007.
